Don't you think it's time that we start gathering the little information we have about our ancestral family (a grand title if ever there was one) for our collective wisdom? I am embarrassed to say that I know so little about our grandparents and their families. I know Nanny's name was Dillon, her father was a shoemaker, but I don't know her mother's maiden name...does anyone? Or her parents' first names (was her father Martin?) We know that Wiilliamstown is where she went back to with her kids during the Depression... was Derevaud (sp?) the hamlet within Williamstown where they lived? And what about Pop's family?
I know some out there have gathered more info than this for passport searches and possibly school projects. Please share with all so we can pool our info! And congrats to those who keep building our numbers....keep it up!
