Today is July 25 and we have 3 months to go. I have received some checks... thank you. I am awaiting others. Any information any of you want to share about travel, clothes, packing, useful information.....this is the place to do it.
A friend just returned from Ireland- her tip was to use a bank ATM machine that get euros that way. She said there was no need to exchange before getting there. Hope to hear from you soon.

I have a friend here at work who is originally from Dublin. He is there on vacation right now. I am going to get some tips from him. He said that it doesn't rain as much as it used to in prior years (not sure if we can count on that). But he said the real rainy months are January and February. I will keep you all posted about what I find. I have asked him for restaurant recommendations in Dublin as well. We need a good place to go so I can carbo load the night before the big race!
