Maddens-in-Ireland
Our tour has increased to 16 with the addition of Beth and Martin Madden!!!! Our very generous and gracious Uncle and Father is surely making the trip hard to refuse. Any possible O'Connor men coming to join us? It is already almost June!! I will keep you all posted on when I need final monies and information. We still have lots of time. much love,
Maureen

What's the Latest?

Hi all,
Haven't seen many posts in awhile. Just wanted to see if we have made any progress with adding more people to the tour. I may have a couple or a few prospects, but not sure yet, so I don't want to get anyone's hopes up. Let's continue to work on those that are on the fence. It's going to be a great time! I mapped out my training schedule, and I officially start at the end of June, although I am trying very hard to build up now. Hope all is well and let's get more people in the mix!
Love,
Christy

David, Jeanne and the Maneen book flights!

Hello all --

We've made our plane reservations for Ireland. On Wednesday Oct. 25 we'll be on that same 19:40 Aer Lingus flight out of Kennedy, with Christy, Kathleen and the Madden gals. Then we're planning to spend an extra night in Dublin and return on Nov. 2. David will do a quick a.m. flight on Nov. 1 over to Manchester and be a "Day Tripper" at some Beatles sites in Liverpool; he'll probably return to Dublin on the last flight out of Manchester that evening. Daniel and I will have another day to enjoy Dublin! Then we'll take a 12:45 flight back to the U.S. on the 2nd. Maureen, should I contact the CIE agent and see if she can book us one more night (Nov. 1) at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin? I can do it online but she might be able to get a better rate.

Love to all --

Maddens-in-Ireland

Maddens-in-IrelandAn Ireland update....
I have some information for you. We have had some changes due to large tours booking before us. I am told that the accomodations are lovely. Here are the changes: The first night we are in a Radisson in Galway which is one block off of Eyre Square. I understand that the noise level is less one block off so I am grateful for that! Once we get to Killarney, the hotel is the Killarney Plaza Hotel. Kate Kearney's Cottage(sp) was fully booked so our dinner that night will be at the hotel.
There is also a change re: dinner once we get to Dublin. So far that is all.
We have about 15 people. We would love for Mary and Jimmy and Martin to join us. I have also tried to reach cousin Donna. If we don't have 20, we will have more cost per person. I'll send more info as I learn it.
